ETH MSc in LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE: NEW ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FROM FALL SEMESTER 2023
If you have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in architecture or landscape architecture from a university with at least 180 ECTS or equivalent, you are eligible to apply for the Master’s degree program in Landscape Architecture. Students who completed a Bachelor’s degree in in architecture or landscape architecture from a Swiss university of applied sciences can also apply. Their admission is always subject to the acquisition of the missing academic and methodological knowledge and skills in the form of additional studies.
The programme is also suitable for architects who already have a Master’s degree and would like to specialise in landscape architecture.
The teaching language is English. To be admitted, proof of sufficient knowledge of English (level C1) must be provided. Please inform yourself about the necessary application documents. A motivation letter and a portfolio are required for the application.
IMPORTANT NOTE: New application windows starting from coming application period for autumn semester 2023:
First application period: 1 Nov. – 15 Dec. 2022
Compulsory for students with a Bachelor’s degree from outside Switzerland and for students who require a visa or a Swiss residence permit to study in Switzerland (Extra EU, EU/EFTA). This first deadline is also open to all applicants.
Second application period: 1 – 30 April 2023
Only open to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree from a Swiss university who do not require a visa or already have a valid Swiss residence permit.
