The D-ARCH organizes one-week seminar weeks for all students each semester. As a complement to the regular coursework, week-long excursions are offered once each semester. The goal of these excursions is to carefully observe and analyze specific topics in certain geographic areas; some excursions are connected to the topic of the studio, whereas others are not integrated in the studio activities but they reflect the research and the approach pursued by the chair organizing it. The seminar weeks allow students to deepen their understanding of the discipline and connect it to wider thematic areas, contributing to the production of knowledge. At least one seminar week must be completed in the Master’s program.
