Aline Frossard, Senior Research at the Swiss Federal Research Institute WSL, holds a PhD degree in Microbial Ecology from the ETH Zurich. Her current research focuses on processes behind ecosystem functioning and associated diversity in soil. She is exploring microbial communities and their biogeochemical functions in relation to the carbon cycle.
